Chiba Uchiha's Training

Chiba was eager to do some training, as he stood in the Middle of the training field, observing his surroundings. After a few minutes, he pulled out a Blue Scroll, with a Yellow Seal on it, that was tattered. He took the seal off the Scroll, and read out loud:

Name: Thunder Up (Sandā Appu)
Type: B Rank, Offensive, Short range

With Thunder Up, the user should collect a lot of Lightning chakra in their hand and press it together in a round ball, and then release it at once, causing a huge explosion.

It had seemed like an interesting Jutsu when he had brought the scroll, and was ready to start training. Chiba was not very proficient at gathering Chakra in different area's of his body. He started to gather some Chakra in his hand, and when he was happy with the amount, he released the Chakra on a tree. It did hardly any damage to the tree, and Chiba was very disappointed. This time, he decided, that he would up the anti a bit, trying to build up more Chakra to release. He grasped his hand as if he was squeezing a ball, and tried to force chakra right down to his fingertips. He could feel the rush as the Chakra swelled in his hand. As he built up Chakra, his hand started to burn a bit. He figured this was not a good sign, and quickly released the Chakra, onto the tree again. This time, A hole was made in the tree, probably about 15cm in diameter. Chiba was not happy with this attempt. He decided to go beyond his pain threshold, and to make it hurt as much as possible, just so he could learn this new technique. Once again, he clenched his fist so it looked like he was squeezing a ball, and built up chakra in his hand. This time he wanted to do it slowly, so that he could withstand the pain and also keep the chakra stable. As he slowly built up the chakra, it got to a point where the pain really started to kick in. He was in pain, but did not want to show if for fear of looking weak. After building up all the Chakra he could manage without the pain being excruciating, he quickly released the Chakra. The three snapped, because the quick burst of Chakra and burnt straight through it. Chiba was happy with this, but decided to go further. He wanted to perfect this technique, not just know how to do it. This time he wanted to rapidly build up chakra and release, as this is what he would do in a real battle. He bent down slightly to get a firm stance, and quickly tried to muster up chakra in his hand. The chakra came quickly, and before he knew it a big ball of pure lightning chakra came shooting out of his hand, and through 5 trees all standing in a row. Chiba was very proud that he had successfully learnt this Jutsu, but his hand and arm was in a lot of pain. He thought that this was the side effects of learning something new, and without pain there was no gain.

Chiba came back the next day and was pumped. The amazing chakra flowing within him had healed him over night, he wondered if he had a second, or even third element hidden inside of him. To get this though out of his mind, he decided to learn a new Jutsu. He went into his pockets and pulled out a tattered scroll that he had bought that morning, it read:

This technique lets the user create a three-sided wall of electricity to bind their opponent. The user must have three conductors to stick in the ground to create the points. Furthermore, once the enemy is inside, if they come into contact with the wall they will be electrocuted. The only way the Jutsu can be broken is if an outside party were to strike one of the wall with a strong enough attack, which will then deactivate the other walls.

He read the scroll thoroughly, and decided to prepare to learn this Jutsu. He walked around the field, and place 3 Kunai in a triangle, he decided that these would be the conductors. He thoroughly read the Hand Seals, trying to engrave the combination into his mind. He kept saying to himself, Ox and Horse and Dragon, Ox and Horse and Dragon. Once he was satisfied that remembering the combination of Seals was proficient, he started to try to execute the Jutsu. The first time, he just built up chakra in his hands, and executed the Hand Seals. It didn’t work, which didn’t surprise Chiba, but he had attempted it anyway. The next time he would attempt the Jutsu, he would think of Walla around the Dummy, maybe this would work, as this is what basically the Jutsu does. He built up the Chakra in his hands, perfectly executed the hand seals, and to no prevail the Jutsu did not work. He had to rethink the way he was concentrating on this Jutsu. He thought that maybe if he visualized the walls surrounding the Dummy, that maybe all of a sudden the walls would pop up. He thought this wasn’t such a bad idea, and started to concentrate, long and hard onto the Dummy, and then backing out to the Walls surrounding it. He steadily built up the Chakra required, and then quickly executed the Hand Seals. It still did not work, and Chiba was baffled. He stood there, thinking, what would it feel like if he was the Dummy? He visualized in his brain, 3 big walls closing in on him, maybe if he felt that way, it could come out that way. This is his best idea so far, though Chiba, so he might as well but it into action. He focused long and hard on 3 walls, closing in on his mind, and then him gathering Chakra, and executing the hand seals. He did this as he thought this. It was amazing, finally, walls appeared around the Dummy. He felt on top of the world, master 2 Jutsu’s in 2 days, it was a great feeling.

Chiba wanted to learn some new Medical Ninjutsu. He wanted to learn this, just incase one of his comrades was hurt, he could at least give them some support if the healing process. He looked through his bag, and pulled out a scroll with pink edges, and a red seal. It read:

This medical ninjutsu allows the user to speed up the body's natural healing process by sending chakra from their hands into a wound or afflicted body part. This allows the user to heal a patient without the need for medical equipment or surgery, making it highly useful on the battlefield. It can be used to treat both external and internal injuries. It is vital to match the amount of chakra used to the severity of the affliction or injury. This requires a great amount of chakra control.
By sending an excess amount of chakra into the patient's body, the user can overload the patient's normal circulation, trapping them in a comatose state. Although this is usually undesirable, Kabuto Yakushi once effectively used this side effect to get Kiba Inuzuka out of his way.

It seemed like a hard task, as this required precision usage of chakra. Chiba was not very good at this, but at least he was proficient with targeting chakra to different parts of his body. He decided first up, he was going to go back to some old school techniques. He was going to be climbing some trees, without using his hands, so he could learn controlling chakra, to the point where he could climb up the tree and make it to the to, so he doesn't expel too much chakra and get pushed off of the tree, and he doesn't expel not enough chakra so he has no grip on the tree. He looked around for a mid height tree, so at least if he nearly got to the top and fell, he would not get injured very badly. He went up to the tree and took a few steps back. He stood, and concentrated very hard. He kept his mind clear, so that the molding of his chakra would go well. Once he was satisfied, he broke into a run. He made it right to the top of the tree on his first shot. He thought that this was actually easier than he had previously thought. He then started doing it again and again. He made it up the top almost every time. Once he was satisfied, he looked for the biggest tree he could find. He found one that went for ages, you could see the top, but it seemed a mile away. He thought that this was going to be a huge challenge. Because of this, he could not keep his mind clear, and he kept getting only about 5 metres high. He really wanted to learn this technique. He sat on the ground, constantly keeping his mind clear. He stood up, while keeping his mind clear. He was very calm now, he was not thinking about the tree. He gathered chakra in his feet. He ran up the tree, and dropped about 10 metres short. He was very dissapointed, but then again very happy, because he had nearly made it to the top. He wanted to make it to the top right now, so he stood, keeping thought out of his mind for a few minutes. He gathered chakra in his feet, and sprinted. This time, he made it to the top of the tree. He was really happy, as this was a massive achievement for him. Now all he had to do with simply gather the appropriate chakra in his hand, using pinpoint accuracy. He had a dummy on the ground. He kept a calm and clear mind, and gathered chakra in his hand. It glowed a green colour, he knew this was the chakra that could heal. He placed his hand on the dummy, and nothing happened. He was excited, because it had meant that he had not used too much chakra, and he had regulated it well, and he had successfully mastered this jutsu. He kept practicing on the dummy, until he was very tired, so he decided to pack up his bag, place the scroll in it and walk back to Konoha
