Background:Before Academy Life:Hikari Anna grew up in the Village of Sand, which is also her birthplace. Even before Anna entered Academy, she has had experienced many things. Born with blood-red eyes, she felt different with the rest of her clan. Naturally, Hikari Clan members have green, blue or yellow eyes, but only she possesses that unique-coloured pair of eyes. She grew with her biological parents and lived a royal life since her father is the current leader of the clan and she is considered as the heir. However, due to her social status and eye-colour, bullies and other people always pick on her. That was when she met her first and best friend, Kaede, who once protected her from a bullying man.
Because of her own lack of strength, she was treated as a wimp and weakling, and the elders of the clan even requested for a change in heir. They only recognized her as the most suitable for the position of heir when she first activated her bloodline at a very young age of 6.
It happened when she was once playing with her friends in the park and a drunken wanted shinobi decided to play rough with them. Her caretaker and bodyguard was no match with the guy and when she was about to get stabbed by him, she accidentally activated her bloodline due to mixed emotions. The thief, upon recognizing that she was from the Hikari Clan, left dashing without a single sword. The rest of the clan, including her parents, was really surprised with the early awakening of her advanced bloodline. It has been a tradition in the clan that the awakening of each member’s bloodline should occur during the Rite of Awakening, which is performed during one’s genin rank-up. Also, because of that incident, her father gave her a pet: a gray-blue wolf cub which she named “Zero”.
Anna’s worst and most painful experience was the death of her closest friend, Kaede. Kaede was killed by the same drunken shinobi when she tried to protect Anna. At that same moment, due to extreme pain and anger, this was the first time Anna awakened her other side. Her eyes changed from cute and innocent to razor-sharp, and so was her personality. She became the total opposite of her normal self, and according to some witnesses, she killed the drunken man brutally.
From that day onward, she swore that she would be strong enough, and never again will a loved one of her shed blood for her sake.
Academy Student:A year after the tragic incident that happened to her friend, Anna entered the Ninja Academy for the first time and she was the youngest student; she was just 7 years old. She had been training her speed ability since she found out that it’s her best skill and was naturally above average than the others. But unlike other people who act cold towards others because of their tragic past, she was very friendly and cheerful to her classmates, friends, and anyone who she meets. In fact, she was actually known for her warm and sweet personality. However, she was very lazy in class. She often sleeps, seen chatting with her friends while the teacher is discussing, and gets easily bored and laid back towards boring lessons. But she’s very active and participative when it comes to playing and exciting stuffs. When her teacher asked each student his or her favored weapon, she claimed that she’d always wanted to have a sword. Academy students aren’t yet allowed to handle long or metal swords, and since Anna’s fighting style is more on short-range offense, she was given a 2 ft long wooden sword to start with. She first used the wooden sword in a friendly spar with Kaori Misuki [NPC]. She also activated her bloodline here to test its skills. But, due to certain reason, their spar was interrupted and ended up unfinished. She also had a friendly fight with Yamabuki Akane [NPC], which she once again activated her bloodline and the spar ended with her victory.
Finally, the Genin Exam had arrived. And it has never been a problem to her. Starting off with the Genin Exam – Written Test Phase, she aced it with so much ease. Next was the Genin Exam - Actual Test Phase, where she’s required to perform the 3 basic jutsu: Kawarami, Bunshins, and Henge. And it didn’t take her too long to perform it perfectly in front of her senseis. The Genin Exam – Battle Phase was a cool and nice fight for her because it turned out that her opponent was Kaori Misuki, the one whom she had an unfinished spar from before. The fight was intense and she even activated her bloodline which by then leveled up to stage two, to show that she acknowledged her as a worthy opponent. The battle ended with her victory.
As she passed the three test phases, she graduated in the academy as the best and was regarded as “The Rookie of the Year” by the Kages.
Genin:After she graduated at the academy, she immediately received the Sunagakure ninja headband, symbolizing that she is already a certified ninja of the village. As she started her genin life, she had an unexpected battle with a jounin. She was attacked from nowhere without any reason. She was on a very tight spot when she activated her stage 2 bloodline. Upon recognizing the eyes, the Jounin stopped the assault and had told her that she’s worthy of becoming his student, and then he vanished. Later on, Anna figured out that the Jounin was named Senkoji Kai [NPC] and was actually the leader assigned to her team. In short, he was her sensei. Her other teammates, Nekoyashi Natsumi [[NPC], and Hagino Yuko [NPC], welcomed her to the team through a 2 vs 1 friendly spar. The spar was held in the woods and due to Anna’s improved speed level and various shinobi techniques, the battle ended up with her victory.
She once went to a D rank mission with her team when she was attacked by a chuunin from another village. Though she was forced to activate her bloodline, she won the battle without any injury. Fortunately for her, before she left the village for the mission, her sword improved from the 2ft wooden training sword to a 1ft long metal sword. It helped her with the battle she had.
She had been making great and fast improvements on her bloodline. Normally for each member of the Hikari Clan, the bloodline will be first activated during the Rite of Awakening, which is preformed during one’s genin rank. But unlike the rest of the members, she didn’t only activate it early, but also in her current genin rank, she had a level 2 Forbidden Eyes. Few more training and experience with it and it will reach level 3. Due to that fact, the elders were furious because according to them, she had violated thousands of years of tradition. They immediately requested for her bloodline to be permanently sealed. However, her mother decided to have a bloodline training with her through a tough spar. The fight took almost an hour and finally, the stage two was leveled up to stage 3. This made the elders even furious and voted for a new leader. But the Kazekage that time acknowledged what Anna and her mother had done, and so, the elders could do nothing.
Time seemed so fast and the Chuunin Exams had already arrived. But as usual, Anna remained calm and cheerful like the genin exams. But unlike the genin exams, the chuunin exam had no written test. Instead, 3 Actual Tests were given to each team. Anna’s team, Team 01, led by Senkoji Kai, managed to pass the first test. In the second test, she had a battle with Katsurugi Emiya [NPC]. She activated her bloodline, and managed to win. In her last test, she had a battle with Katsurugi Momoshi [NPC], Emiya’s older brother. But just like his brother, he was easily defeated by Anna.
Because of her spectacular performance in the chuunin exams, she was regarded as “The Chuunin of the Year” by the Kages.
Chuunin:Upon graduating from genin by the age of 10, she was immediately invited by the Kage to be an ANBU spy, which she undoubtedly accepted. She was given certain privileges as an ANBU spy: she can do missions from level D-B, and she doesn’t have to wear ANBU attire and mask. In short, she’s an ANBU in disguise.
After being invited by the Kage, she immediately ran to her father to claim the legendary weapon of the ancient Hikari Clan. Alastor, The Flame of Heaven, a 3 feet long katana, which he promised to give to her if she was acknowledged by the kage thrice in a row. 1st – Rookie of the Year which was given to her by the 5 kages, 2nd – The Chuunin of the Year which was also given to her by the 5 kages, and 3rd – The ANBU spy invitation of the Kazekage. Since she met the requirements, her father gave it to her without any regrets.
Her first experience as an ANBU spy was the Level B Mission given to her. She had to figure out the new people behind the secret organization forming in the Sunagakure. The mission was going smoothly until the org. leader found out about her being a spy and she was caught in a 10 vs 1 battle. Fortunately, Team Kai and the reinforcements arrived just in time to back her up. In the midst of the battle, she was forced to activate her bloodline since she was faced with a jounin. Finally, after much bloodshed, the mission was a success and the organization was completely destroyed.
A month after that, something unexpected happened. The Onikage declared an all-out-war against the Village of Sand. Oni sent almost all its shinobis, but Suna didn’t send any shinobis in offense since the Kazekage didn’t tend to destroy the Onigakure. They focused on defense. Team Kai was assigned at the south of the wind country and ANBUs were assigned at the front gate. Because of this, Anna had to separate from her sensei and teammates since she’s also considered as an ANBU. The war didn’t last too long and Suna had successfully driven back Onigakure’s shinobis though many were killed and the village had been severely damaged. Overjoyed with their victory, Anna headed to her team. However, her happiness was suddenly ended as she heard the news. The rest of the members of Team Kai were killed in action.
After she heard the news, she immediately went to see their bodies. Upon arriving, she blamed herself for the incident. She wasn’t even there to at least support her team. She remembered the days when they first met; her battle with Natsuki, Yuko, and with the one she treats as the strongest ninja in the village and would have been the next Kazekage - Senkoji Kai. They were her closest companions and had treated them as her own family. After delivering her farewell message to each one of them, she cried her heart out.
A week had passed after that incident, and Anna had lost interest on being a shinobi. She haven’t trained her speed and agility like she always do, and she had been staying all day long in her room. Hikari Natsume, her father, and also the leader of the clan, took this chance to execute his master plan for her, the Rite of Perfection. Anna was definitely ready of having the level 4, the final and fully developed Forbidden Eyes and so, he talked to her about it. Unlike the Rite of Awakening, the Rite of Perfection is far more difficult since it’s almost a battle to the end.
The match between Natsume and Anna was devastating. Amidst the fight, for the first time in 4 years, Anna had once again unconsciously awakened her other side. Because of this, the traditional one on one fight was broken, and the other members of the clan had to interfere because of her unbelievable capabilities. Natsume together with the other decided to drive her to her own edge before getting unconscious. On the brink of getting unconscious, she had awakened her fully developed Forbidden Eyes. And the fight was over.
After the Rite of Perfection, she had returned to her normal jolly self. She finally understood why her sensei and teammates risked their lives in protecting Sunagakure.
Elite Jounin:Her Chuunin life ended when she was 12 years old. Two years of being hyper-active chuunin and had never failed even a single mission, with great reputation all over the ninja world - made the 5 kages decide to promote her not to a jounin, but to a sannin instead. However, she refused the offer and claimed that she was still far too young and too inexperienced for the position. Honestly, she was afraid of what people might think of her: the child born with the blood-red eyes - who was once weaker that everyone else, and who was known to possess the theorized bloodline of the ancient Hikari Clan assassins - a Sannin? And most importantly, a chuunin immediately promoted to sannin? Even the great Kazekage, Gaara of the Desert, didn't undergo that rank, he was only genin when he was 12, and was only voted by the villagers, not by the 5 kages.
And so, the 5 kages, though respected her decision, still insisted her to be classified as on of the top. Thus, she was an "Elite" Jounin instead of a normal Special Jounin of Jounin rank. Already feeling awkward with other Jounins because she was the youngest, she wa even given a team to handle, and unfortunately, her students were older than her. However, due to this fact, their parents and the students themselves, complained to the Kage. At first, the Kage disagreed with their decision, but when Anna told the Kage it's okay for her, he granted their wish of change of sensei.
Anna was then stuck with A and S-rank missions. At that time, Zero, her pet remained a cub. This bothered her because Zero wasn't growing at all ever since she received him 6 years ago. She later discovered that her pet was no ordinary animal. He was actually related to the tailed beasts in the sense that he is immortal. Though he may look like a baby wolf, he can transform himself into as a big a normal adult wolf, maybe a bit bigger since Anna is able to ride on his back when he's transformed.
Only a year after being an Elite Jounin, she was once again offered by the Kages for a promotion to Sannin. She, like before, refused. but the Kazekage told her to think about it first and so, she was given time before she gives her final response.
One time, Anna was astonished when the Kazekage suddenly challenged her to a one on one match against himself. Since it would be rude to refuse, she accepted the challenge. As the village heard of this, they were thrilled and interested. The battle was helf publicly, in the forest of the Land of Wind. The match didn't last too long, and Anna had once again tasted the bitterness of defeat. The Kazekage then reminded her of her past life before she entered the academy: being weaker than everyone else, never winning even a single fight, and having to depend on others for safety. Anna was then awakened and she truly realized what she had always wanted - be strong strong enough to protect everyone she loves. And so, after that match, she had accepted the offer of becoming a Sannin.
Sannin:Few days after the match with the Kage, the Kage, himself, offered his position to Anna. Meaning, he was already giving her the position for Kazekage. The people agreed with his decision and they were even supporting him. Because ever since the match, they realized the fact that Anna was the most suitable for the position. However, Anna refused. Her reason was simple: she wants to be a kage not because the Kage and the people wanted so, but because she deserves that position. She reasoned out that she wanted to challenge the Kage sometime for his position, and earn it by winning. But since she was defeated easily, she thought she still need to get stronger.
And so, another week after, she asked for the Kage and the village's permission to leave Suna and train for 5 years, then be back and challenge the Kage. They agreed with her decision, but still acknowledge her as the next Kazekage as she left Suna.
She traveled far away, and finally met a new sensei through a tough fight in which she lost. She didn't know his name and preferred to be called "The Senjutsu Master". But since it's too long to say, she just called him "Sora" which means "Sky" because at that time, she can't even land a single punch, and so, she treated him as someone unreachable - like the sky. Sora was the one who taught her the art of Senjutsu or Sage techniques. Apart from that, he trained her every skill and ability, and even taught her a lot of S-rank techniques. She had also discovered that Zero, her pet, can be used as a summoned beast, so she also trained for that.
Only 2 years had passed since she left the village when she heard that Suna was under attack by an uknown village. Though she knew pretty well that the village can manage it themselves, she still feared that something like what happened to her teammates and sensei would occur again. She decided that it's time to go back. Sora agreed with her decision, but before she went, it was revealed that Sora was actually Senkoji Kirei, her former sensei's older brother, and that, he was told by Kai that someday Anna will be needing help to be stronger, and asked him to train her as his last request. After that, Anna departed back to Sunagakure with new determination.
The very time she arrived at Suna, the village was at it's peak of destruction. She then figured out that Suna had experienced a lot of attacks before this unknown village. Some minor villages decided to take advantage of what Onigakure had done so they planned to take over Suna. The Sand Village had all triumphed the other villages assault, but it was weakening because of the simultaneous attacks. And so, with the help of Anna, the unknown village was driven back and Suna had once again claimed victory. The villagers were surprised with her appearance since they expected her to be back after 5 years, not 2 years. After that incident, they insisted her to already take the place as Kage, but Anna still refused. She challenged the Kage for his position, and the Kazekage willingly accepted. The match, like before, was held publicly in the forest of the Land of Wind. But this time, with her advanced abilities and aid of Sage techniques, she had successfully achieved the Kazekage rank.
KazekageThough she couldn't believe it herself, she had successfully gained the rank of Kazekage. However, she didn't know anything about being a kage, (up till now, she's still new at being a kage.) and ended up relying on the former Kazekage. But, since the village is suffering a lot of attacks from minor villages, she thought of something to solve this problem because if that continued, Suna will eventually be conquered. So, finally, she thought of a plan. She announced to the whole ninja world that she is the new Kazekage, and that the policy of Suna will now change. Previously, Suna is not sending ninjas as offense to those villages who declare an all out war against the Sand village, but now, every village that goes against the peaceful life of Suna will be crushed to pieces until nothing remains of that village. She didn't actually mean that. She was just bluffing to scare the other villages since everyone knows that Sunagakure is one of the five main villages and is really capable of destroying a village if they wished to. So, it worked. From that day on, not even a single village attacked Suna, and until now, the village is living a peaceful life.
And so, the child born with the blood-red eyes, who was once weaker than everyone else, who possesses the Hikari Clan's theorized ancient bloodline, The Fallen Angel, and the one who swore to be strong enough to protect those she loved, was now the 15 yr. old Kazekage known in the ninja world as "The Legendary Rookie".

Battle Sample Post: Reaching for the Sky.- Spoiler:
Mi, Tori, Ne.
“Kage… Bunshin no Jutsu!” she uttered and immediately, 10 bunshins appeared beside her. “Now what?”
“So, you have to land a single hit on me using only basic jutsus within 3 minutes. You can’t use any elemental techniques, and when 3 minutes is over and I haven’t been hit, you know what will happen right? I’ll have to kill you. Okay, time starts now.” Sora, her sensei, gave a wide grin as he tilted his head and crossed his arms in boredom.
The red-haired girl with blood-red eyes gasped. “Wait, wait. Arg. You’re really full of surprises, Sora-baka.”, grunted Hikari Anna, the 12 year old Elite Jounin who was under training.
They had training this day, and like the other trainings, the consequence of failing is death.
The bunshins immediately took out their kunais with explosive tags and threw them towards Sora, then dashed towards him.
“Hmm? Tsk.” Sora groaned as he swayed around gracefully, avoiding every kunai that passed. “That’s all?”
The bunshins then immediately halted, and pulled and manipulated the wires that were attached to the explosive kunais, such that, the wires wrapped around Sora and the kunais with explosive tags were heading his way.
“Hmm. Impressive.” He closed his eyes and nodded. “But is still a move of a plain newbie.” He added as his chakra leaked out, breaking the wires. He crouched down and with a large force gathered in his legs, he forced a kick from the ground, sending him high up the air. The kunais collided with themselves and a big explosion occurred.
He smiled as he looked down towards the explosion. Just then, Anna’s bunshins emerged from the smoke and grabbed his two feet dragging him down. Then, a fuuma shuriken also emerged from the smoke and was heading directly towards him.
With great speed and strength, he was able to kick the two bunshins that were grabbing his feet, and twisted his body in the air, missing the fuuma shuriken as it passed in front of him upward.
Perfect. Anna thought as the bunshins pulled the string that was attached to the fuuma shuriken, and was now heading back again towards him. He looked up and saw the incoming shuriken. Anna was pretty sure he had no way of dodging it since they’re airborne. But Sora smiled. A bunshin of his own appeared behind him and grabbed him by the shirt. It then pulled him back to avoid the shuriken again as it passed by in front of him.
However, as the fuuma shuriken was right in front of him, it transformed into Anna herself, the wire on her hand. “A Henge?” Sora grinned. She then twisted and rotated her lower body to land a kick towards his head. Sora’s speed was far better than her, and so, he bent down, in time to avoid the kick, and the bunshin behind him caught the incoming kick with its hand.
Wow, he’s good. Anna smirked as she analyzed her situation. Her leg was trapped, and she was widely open with the real Sora’s attack.
“Your time is running out, midget.” Sora grinned as took out a kunai from his pocket and motioned to strike her stomach.
Oh shoot, oh shoot, oh shoot. What now? she panicked since she was trapped and nowhere else to go. Then, she remembered what Sora did.
Another Anna bunshin appeared behind her, and immediately pulled her with so much force that Sora’s bunshin was forced to let go. As she was pulled back, the real Sora’s attack missed her by inches.
Close. Too Close. she sighed in relief, but immediately grabbed Sora’s hand as she pulled herself towards Sora’s bunshin and kicked it, dispersing into with a soft poof.
Meanwhile, Anna’s other bunshins who were also suspended in the air, grabbed each other and threw themselves upward towards Sora. The 5 bunshins who were thrown had wires attached to the other 5 bunshins who threw, so they pulled that string and the 5 bunshins who threw were also heading towards Sora. The other bunshin which had pulled the real Anna, pulled her again, and threw her downward to the ground.
“Hey, midget, scared?” Sora grinned as she saw the real Anna heading towards the ground.
“Actually, yes. Not of you, of course. Scared of the incoming explosion.” She grinned back. She finished the necessary seals.
“Jibaku Fuda: Kassei!”
-----
Jibaku Fuda: Kassei [Exploding Tag: Activate]
Rank: D
Requirements: Explosive Notes.
Description: Utilizing chakra, a ninja is able to activate the explosion mechanism of a distant bomb tag. This can also be used to deactivate any explosive tags in the vicinity of the user, which were set to explode by means other than through the use of jutsu.
-----
Since naturally, the Anna bunshins were carrying explosive tags with them, the bunshins, together with Sora exploded.
He then landed on the ground. “3... 2... 1. And time” Sora stood up and smiled at Anna.
“Wow, midget. You made it just in time.” he pointed on the small graze on his cheek. “You passed.”
Anna made a deep sigh. “Geez, Sora-baka. You should be more considerate with the time limit, you know. Three minutes is just so fast.” she pouted.
“Haha! Okay, okay. Now, on with the next training. Land a single hit on me without using any jutsus, just weapons and hand to hand combat, for 2 minutes! After 2 minutes and you haven’t landed a single hit, I’ll kill you. Okay, time starts now! Haha!” he then entered his sage mode.
“Oh geez. Here we go again.” She rolled her eyes as the katar blades slid from her two hands.

OOC: What’s up with the title? Simple. Sora means “Sky”. And Anna had always wanted to surpass him. Thus the title: “Reaching for the Sky.”
Drama Sample Post: My Beloved Maple.- Spoiler:
The night was the darkest of all nights. The cool gentle breeze of the Land of Wind slowly faded away and sound of the dancing leaves halted, leaving the whole area silently empty. The glowing red moon illuminated her blood-red eyes, burning with unwanted tears, widened by fear, but filled with deep guilt and agony. She saw helplessly and uselessly, her friend, screamed in pain as the tall, dark man thrust his kunai down to her chest, and droplets of blood stained Anna’s face. The bastard man pulled the kunai out and walked backward to lean on a tree, leaving her friend lying on the ground helplessly, and bathing with her own blood. Anna’s knees trembled and her whole body felt no strength, wanting to collapse, but held tight by fear.
She couldn't do anything. It was all her fault that her friend was in that situation anyway. And now that Kaede needed her help, she, herself, can do nothing.
It was too much for her. The pain she felt as she saw Kaede dying bit by bit. The pain of feeling so useless in this life and death situation. The pain of having to be the reason of a friend's death. It was all too much for her.
But she didn’t do anything. She couldn't do anything.
She ran to her friend, dragging her own body to reach her. She knelt on the ground beside her and carefully laid Kaede’s body on her lap.
“Kaede… Kaede!” she said as she stared at her. She felt a huge choking lump on her throat. And everything went blurry. She was blinded by the colourless liquid that had rolled down her cheek. Her fire-red eyes were filled with tears.
“Kaede, I’m so sorry.” She managed to voice out the words amidst the trembling tone. “If it wasn’t for me… If only I had the strength… If only…”
“Oi, stop that, crybaby.” She heard Kaede’s weak voice. She was gasping for breath rapidly. The wound on her chest kept dripping with blood. “Enough with your useless talk, okay? Just this time, stop blabbering and blaming yourself.”
“Yeah, I know you’re weak, and not even capable of protecting yourself. I already know that. That’s why I’m here, right?” her friend gave out a smile filled with deep joy, but at the same time, sorrow.
The last sentence felt like a dagger hitting her chest. That’s why I’m here.
Anna looked at her with an expression far beyond any normal sadness. Words could never describe how painful she felt, wishing she was the one in her situation instead. She blamed herself for everything. She should. If only she had the strength to fight the man. If only she had the ability to save her friend from this devastating state. If only she was strong enough to protect her from fate’s course, this would not have happened. And immediately, like flash of lightning, she made up her mind.
“I have decided. I will be strong enough. Strong enough to surpass you, strong enough to be the village’s strongest, and strong enough to protect everyone I love. I swear. I will be strong enough.” she wiped the tears in her eyes and smiled at Kaede.
Kaede grinned, “You, a wimp who always gets lost, who can’t even land a single punch, and who always rely on me to save you from your mess – the village’s strongest? Haha. Well that’s new.” She chuckled under her breath and closed her eyes halfway.
“But I believe you anyway. I know. You’ll be the strongest Kazekage this village will ever see. And make sure you do.”
Anna calmed a bit at what her friend said, but her anxiety still painted on her face. Finally, Kaede closed her eyes, and smiled once again. But unlike the other one, it portrayed a single meaning, a farewell message.
“See you on the other side, Anna-chan.”
“Look’s like it’s a goodbye for now.”
Her last remaining breath voiced out her last sentence. “Farewell.”
A single sound of heartbeat echoed throughout the night. And then, nothingness.
The wind blew gently and the leaves flew and swayed. Anna’s chest hurt like it never hurt before. It was painful, far painful than being wounded or stabbed. She wished she was dead than feel that treacherous pain. The pain was never like being chopped into tiny pieces. She’ll be willing to take that a hundred times over, and even be grateful. The pain was never like being wounded. She’ll be willing to take that a million times over, and even be thankful. She had never experienced losing someone before. And now, looking ahead at the lifeless body of her only friend, it was too unbearable for her.
Amidst the peaceful forest. Amidst the bright light of the moon. Amidst the deafening silence,
She hugged her.
And then, time seemed to stop. The moving clouds of the night temporarily covered the red moon’s luminescence, and the forest was engulfed in total darkness. Within the emptiness, there were panting, a sound of a person rapidly catching her breath. And amidst the darkness, two blood-red orb bright with silver tears suddenly glowed with razor-sharp stare of anger and revenge.
“You. Pitiful, worthless, low-kind creature.” she uttered in a low voice. The black clouds slowly drifted away, and the light was back.
There stood Anna, her eyes blazing.
“How dare you, low-class human.”
I swear. I'll deliver back the pain a million times over. I will bring forth, your worst nightmares until you die.”
“I will… make you experience… my kind of hell!”
The wind raged violently like never before, birds started to fly in fear, the trees noisily slapped their leaves, the ground shook in fear, and the world took notice of her anger.
It beckoned the start of the end.

OOC: Why the title again? Simple as usual. Kaede means “Maple”.
Simple Sample Post: First Step to Victory - Spoiler:
“Reveal your blaze and come to me…” her right hand on a tiger seal while a bright light glowed on her left hand.
“…Alastor, the Flame of Heaven!”
Immediately, her left hand was engulfed with fire and extended across her whole arm. A sword emerged from the hand and revealed a 3 ft long sword, which was beautifully an expertly crafted, with the edges sharper than any other katanas.
She then raised the sword in front of her face and stared at her opponent. Her bloo-red eyes were literally glowing. But unlike the normal ones, her pupils were extended, and resembled a 4-bladed fuuma shuriken.
The Forbidden Eye’s 4th Stage, Avalon, was activated. And Hikari Anna, the 15 yr. old Sannin, was face to face with the village’s strongest.
“I can see that you have improved greatly, young chosen one.” She heard his soft, calm voice. The voice that spoke with authority and power. The voice of none other than the Kazekage, himself.
“Nah. You haven’t even seen the good part yet.” Anna smiled as she though of her sage mode. “So,”
She moved her left foot back, bent her knees, and arched her upper body forward. Her left hand ready on her side, gripping the legendary weapon, Alastor, tightly. “…let the battle commence!”
