The Konoha Forest

Chiba is scanning his surroundings, eagerly waiting for someone to battle. He is in the middle of a clearing, with dry grass underfoot, a perfect day for battling

Ketsueki comes into the arena, his massive gourd strapped to his back via two large belts, a Sunagakure Headband hung from the belt, the symbol had a big X scratched into it, signifying his betrayel.

"More Konoha Ninja?" He growled. "You people are all over the place..." He said, sand pouring out of his gourd

Chiba stood watching, as the sand poured out of the gourd strapped onto his challengers back. He said, "We sure are, attackers go first!"

Ketsueki nodded, maybe he wouldn't kill this one today. He made a few hand signs, letting chakra pour into his feet, he would move with slightly greater speed, but not with that of a Body Flicker. He ran at his opponent, sand trailing behind.

"Sand Shuriken!" he growled. Some sand took form of that of Shuriken, hey would do only blunt damage (about 45 per hit) as tehy were only sand. Ketsueki had only made five, but this was to gauge his opponents speed and strength. Ketsueki was still quite far away from his opponent.

Chiba jumped as he saw the oncoming opponent, He charged up some Chakra in his hand, and yelled out "Thunder UP!", jumping towards Ketsueki, hoping to hit him with a giant explosion of chakra coming from his hand

((Here's a little Roleplaying tip, describe what you are doing a little more, e.g what thunder Up does, what you thought as you moved, what you thought about your opponent, what you are pondering about your next move etc. Describe a little more, we can think of this as training for a richer and funner experience for you ))

Ketsueki saw the Thunder coming, the boy really shouldn't yell all of his techniques. Ketsueki leapt to one side, dodging the attack and began to make some hand signs, multiple signs for multiple techniques. One was Sand Clone, another had yet to be revealed. He began to run to the point where Chiba would land, the Sand Clone trailing behind.

Chiba saw the oncoming attack from Ketsueki using his Sharingan, he quickly used Body Flicker and ended up back where he started.

Ketsueki wasn't far from Chiba now... Perfect. Now that he had landed, just landed he could activate his other technique, Sand Coffin, Chiba woudld be engulfed from sand, his head the only thing would be left exposed. The clone stood by Ketsueki, doing nothing, as did he.

Chiba could feel sand coming from under him. He quickly gathered Chakra in his feet and jumped, right into a tree branch. He landed softly and stared at Ketsueki.

Ketsueki saw Chiba begin to move, time for a more work to be done. The clone moved as Chiba jumped, soaring high in the sky, moving with blnding movement. It changed instantly, and began to drizzle above Chiba with great speed. Chiba couldn't keep this up forever. the sand would engulf him very much as the Sand Coffin would, the sand that had missed before began to converge on his opponent too, Chiba was on the run. He did so well, Ketsueki wouldn't kill him.

Chiba stood, watching the sand come up towards him, controlled by the sand user he was looking at.

Ketsueki grinned, the sand was engulfing him, by now he would be totally immobile. This was finally going to end, Ketsueki smiled at the prospect, winning was fun, it was a great feeling to beat others. He would rise Chiba up into the air, and apply pressure with the desert sand burial, but he would completely crush him.

"I have you on the run..." He said. "No point escaping... I will defeat you." His voice was bored, as if h =e hadn't enjoyed this, oh how he had.

Chiba did some hand seals, as the sand was coming up. Ram, Boar, Ox, Dog, Snake. All of a sudden, Chiba was in another tree. What he had done was the Replacement technique, replacing himself in the sand with some logs of the tree. Ketsueki would surely not know where he was, as he was hiding.

The sand halted. The little worm. Ketsueki closed his eyes, giving his sand one single order.

Hunt.

The sand zipped around the trees, the ground, everywhere, looking for it's prey. Ketsueki had enough, Chiba wouldn't be able to clear the entire clearing with one replacement, time to flush him out. The sand moved towards Ketsueki, an evil smirk planted on his lips. Ketsueki raised one arm, drawing sand from underneath the ground.

"No where to hide..." He murmured. "Sand Tidal Wave!" The sand rose high into the sky, creating a huge wave, it would fly high into the sky, and crash onto the trees where Chiba would be hiding, the trees would be fallen, and Chiba, underneath.

Chiba gathered Chakra into his feet and jumped high, he grabbed three kunai and threw them in a triangle around Ketsueki. He then did some hand seals. Ox, Horse and Dragon. Three HUGE barriers would come up, one from each Kunai, and bind Ketsueki, unless attacked from the outside.

Ketsueki underestimated this ninja, who could jump really, really high, high enough to go above a multi story Sand Wave, but then again, Konoha trees were big. He laughed he had so much sand to work with. the sand would travel near the barrier an up, completley covering it, without actually touching it. At this time, obscured from view, Ketsueki used the simple clone technique, to make him think that he was still in there should the sand go away. He tunneled under ground with the Headhunter technique, from this point, his chakra would be unseeable.

Chiba saw sand rise over the the barrier. Now he was getting nervous. He thought that Ketsueki was still in the barriers. He though that there was no way out of these huge barriers. He landed about 20 metres away from the wall of sand and barriers, and got into a stance. Chiba had to wait this fight out, and try to make Ketsueki drain his chakra before he could do any major damage on Chiba.

Ketsueki was still underground, still, nothing happened. Ketsueki tunneked slowly, doing his best not to disturb any earth above ground, he snaked his way up. Where would he be? Only one way to find out. As he was now not far from where his clone was, he deduced taht if Chiba had landed by now, he would land in front of the barrier, wondering what was going on. Time to show him. Ketsueki would make this technique seem like a suicide technique. It was the Antlion technique. The earth would begin to sink like quicksand, almost undetectable, it would drag Chiba down, stopping just above his waist, and then solidifying, should Ketsueki choose the right place, he hoped it was, it was the most likely. The Antilion technique would also drag a kunai underground, making the barrier waver, but it still held.

Chiba was standing, waiting for the sand to clear off the barriers, and for the fight to go on. All of a sudden, he found himself knee deep in Quicksand. Surely Ketsueki was going to bring himself down, as well as Chiba. Chiba tried to do his best to get out, but could not. He ended up waist deep in the quicksand. He figured there was only one way to get out, blast himself out. He charged up Chakra in his hand, until it was ready to explode out of his hand.

Feet came through the ground, they were in empty space, in the place where Ketsueki had tunneled. Wonderful. he made one hand sign, and the sand on the barrier would crash on Chiba, severely injuring him, but not killing him. This would dissalow and escape from above, and if he wanted to escape to the side, he would break both his legs. Ketsueki would appear, revealing the now dissapearing clone in the shield. Ketsueki was out of range of the Antlion Technique, which didn't matter, it was hard ground now.

Chiba saw the sand coming down from the barrier, ready to crush him. As the sand has nearly gone onto Chiba, he used his Thunder Up technique, making a big enough hole to save himself some time.

"Not gonna happen." Ketsueki said, immediatley reacting to the appearance of the lightning. Ketsueki pulled out multiple Kunai, about ten, and threw them all at Chiba, he would pierced from behind, all over his back, unable to move. Ketsueki then clapped his hands, and used shield of sand, not on himself, but his opponent, now he could not move and escape, it was impossible.

Chiba felt a sharp pain, running along is back and on his legs. Someone had obviously threw Kunai at him, but from where? He then felt some sand wrap around him. He thought this was weird, because how could Ketsueki throw Kunai from underground if he was trapped in his barriers? He then realised that Ketsueki must have dug under the barriers, and put the sand over the barriers so that Chiba could not see him doing so. He was gone, for good.

The shield of sand would now clasp down on his opponent, and drag him out, the Sand Coffin. Ketsueki would then set him down, he could have killed him, but he needed him, but the urge was great. He looked at his student.

"I win." He said plainly. "Declare defeat or die." he said, keeping his student hovering slightly in mid air.
